Larry has 3 decades of hands-on financial and operational leadership experience. He is a CPA, with an MBA from Columbia University. Larry started his career as a Senior Auditor for Deloitte Touche. He entered the restaurant business in 1990 to join the opening team of Planet Hollywood and stayed through the opening of twenty-five of its international units. He left in 1994 to found the Motown Cafe, with units in New York, Las Vegas, Orlando and Tokyo. Larry spent the next decade in Advertising as Global CFO/COO of Naked Communications, an international marketing agency and as CFO of McCann Erickson NY, owned by publicly traded Interpublic Group (IPG).
Currently, he is an Advisor, Board Member, Interim CFO and Angel Investor to seven early-stage ventures. Additionally, he is on the faculty of the International Culinary Center (ICC), where he teaches Hospitality Entrepreneurship.
