Fiona Brand has twenty years’ hands on experience in graphic design, advertising and public relations at leading companies in Europe and Australia.
Fiona began her career in advertising with positions at Luscombe and Partners and Clemenger BBDO. Post advertising, her passion for the emerging online world led her to specialise in online usability and accessibility, moving to Ireland to work with leading UX design consultancy Frontend.
While living in Dublin, she founded a design studio for global public relations company Edelman PR, leading a team of talented designers and developers in creating interactive experiences and break-through PR campaigns for clients such as Diageo, Johnson & Johnson and Microsoft. The team was globally recognized as best in class, winning the Golden World Award from the International Public Relations Association for Marketing an Established Product.
She went on to manage the design offering at PPR’s head office in Sydney, working on a diverse range of projects, such as a refreshed design for Outward Bound Australia, launching the Star Wars game for Xbox, and the introduction of Emirates’ 6-star luxury resort, Wolgan Valley.
Founding her own studio, Brand by Name, in 2012, Fiona designs brands, marketing materials, infographics, websites and event invitations for clients such as Moët Hennessy, Cleanaway, State Library Victoria and Appetite Communications.
